A465 Overnight Temporary Traffic Management. 18 and 19 August 2023.
As part of the construction work to upgrade the A465, overnight work is planned for:
Friday 18 and Saturday 19 August 2023.
On these evenings temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs on the A465 adjacent to Windfarm Road (Between Rhigos and Hirwaun Roundabouts). When this work is complete a new temporary roundabout will be in operation at this location.
When the Hirwaun Road (A4059) reopens on Monday 21 August 2023 at 06:00hrs it will connect to the new temporary and permanent roundabouts. Traffic will also be using the new Trewaun West Bridge. These changes are shown in the illustration.
