Penywaun man charged with threats to kill two police officers
A man has been charged following an attack on two police officers in Pontypridd on Monday evening.
Officers stopped to help a man who looked like he was in distress, however as they approached, he proceeded to then douse them in petrol and then violently threatened to set them alight. He was subsequently arrested following a Taser discharge.
We are appealing for witnesses to the incident, including a couple in a white SUV who stopped to provide assistance.
