The first annual Round Ribbon event is in aid of Blood Bikes Wales. it all kicked off in Aberaman at Moto Martyn Motorcycles said, A big thanks to everyone that attended the Blood Bikes Wales Round Ribbon ride today, they raised a total of £8,000. Well done to everyone that contributed to such a great cause. Sorry for any inconvenience to our neighbours but it was all for a great cause. It was attended by a lot more than we anticipated and we just about coped. Thank you for your patience.
Five venues across South Wales will be working together with Blood Bikes Wales to kick-start the biking season.
Full details will follow in the comments but the basic principle is to pick one of the locations as your start and finish point. Check-in with the Blood Bikes Wales stand to register then travel around the venues visiting the Blood Bikes Wales stand at each and receiving a stamp on your round ribbon card.
The route is your choice and the ride is your responsibility. The venues and Blood Bikes Wales are not responsible for any individual’s travel requirements or responsibilities. Outside of the venues, it is simply your ride/drive and all legal and safety laws are the responsibility of the entrants.
The aim of the day is to raise awareness for Blood Bikes Wales and support its fundraising efforts as they are a charity that relies on donations and receives no funding for the work it carries out. All Blood Bikes Wales members from riders, fundraisers, and controllers to committee members are volunteers who receive no financial gain, wages or remuneration for their time, efforts and services provided to the NHS.
