Police arrested a 22 year-old woman from Abercynon

Police arrested a 22 year-old woman from Abercynon on Tuesday (23 Aug) on suspicion of committing fraud.

The woman is suspected of selling a number of fake festival tickets to members of the public.

She has since been released under investigation.

Inspector Meirion Collings said: “We understand that a number of people may be affected and I would like to reassure those people that we have made an arrest and an investigation is underway.

“Anybody else who thinks they may have bought a fake ticket is urged to make contact"
