Information uncovered by the Welsh Conservatives has found that the Welsh Labour Government does not hold a list of all of the owners of medium and high-rise buildings in Wales preventing vital support being provided.
Commenting on the news, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Housing, Janet Finch-Saunders MS, said:
“Once again Labour have been found lacking. First, we find out that they only met housing developers three times in 2021 for a grand total of 2 and a half hours and now we find out that they don’t have a list of all of the owners of properties.
“How can families in high rise buildings be supported if Labour don’t know who the owners are?
“Labour ministers need to stop focussing on expanding the Senedd and focus on helping the people of Wales.”
