The local elections are taking place on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
The elections will include, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council elections and Community Council elections where applicable. Those elected will represent their area and serve a term of FIVE years.

ALL legally registered residents aged 16 and over are now eligible to vote in Wales – register here.
Somethings may have changed since you last voted, including changes to constitutional boundaries made by the Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales, so please check to ensure you’re up to date.
Letters from the elections team have been sent out to all RCT households, so please double check that we have you on the electoral register and all the details are correct.
