Temporary drop-in testing centre in Merthyr Tydfil
There will be a temporary COVID testing centre, located at The Castle Car Park in Merthyr Tydfil, from Wednesday 16th September until Tuesday 22nd September.
This will be a DROP-IN, WALK THROUGH test centre and will be operational between 9:30 and 16:30 each day. You do not need to book an appointment.
Visitors will need to attend the test centre on foot keeping a safe distance from others in the process. Following the test you must head immediately home to self- isolate until the test result is received. People who test positive for COVID-19 should continue to self- isolate for 10 days.
Some car parking is available on site.
You should only attend the test centre if you CURRENTLY HAVE coronavirus symptoms:
- New continuous cough
- High Temperature
- Loss/change of taste/smell
