RCTC Recycling and Waste Update
Online Recycling Bag Request and Delivery Service Reinstated
Based on current staff resources, the Council has been able to temporarily reinstate the online recycling bag request and delivery service. This will run for as long as possible, but is subject to change and under constant review. In the event of staff absence and to effectively manage staff resources there may be some disruption to services. If the service and delivery is disrupted at these times please be patient and we will endeavour to rearrange deliveries when conditions improve. The Council would like to thank our residents for the overwhelming and continued support at this difficult time.
Please note: recycling bag requests CANNOT be made by calling the contact centre.
Residents Reminded that ALL CRCs REMAIN CLOSED During The Current Lockdown
ALL CRCs REMAIN CLOSED during the current lockdown travel restrictions, in line with national guidance relating to social distancing and to avoid gatherings. There are NO Plans to re-open these at present andResidents should ONLY make essential journeys. STAY home, PROTECT the NHS & SAVE lives!
We would ask residents that where possible they keep materials such as wood, scrap metal, mattresses, paints, rubble, clothes, furniture for disposal until after this national emergency is over and the Community Recycling Centres re-open.
Please do not fly-tip these items, anyone caught doing so, WILL face enforcement action.
