Adult Social Care Tax
Commenting on the news released today (February 4) that the Welsh Labour Government is considering introducing a tax or levy to pay for adult social care, Janet Finch-Saunders AM/AC, Shadow Minister for Social Care, said:
“I am looking forward to the Minister for Health and Social Services’ overdue statement on this issue.
“Having held another Social Care Policy Forum last week, it was made clear to me and the stakeholders present, that there is an important step we need to take before considering a tax.
“We need to ensure that we are not looking to pour more money into a broken or inefficient system.”
