What’s the reason our towns are dying? As well as being hit by Internet shopping why are so many shops closing Business Rates is another reason and dilapidated and shabby shop fronts don’t help.
I see many shops in Aberdare are leasehold looking at what you have to pay for the lease per annum or weekly on top of that you pay business rates seems you have to fork out a substantial amount before a £1 goes in the till not forgetting insurances.
It can not be easy running a shop in any town.
