Survey: Tackling loneliness and isolation

The Welsh Government is holding a consultation asking for views on what they should do to tackle loneliness and social isolation.

Loneliness is usually considered as a gap between the level of social contact a person wants and their actual level of social contact; the quality of their relationships. It is can take a long time to solve.

The Welsh Government’s proposals focus on five of the six areas from their strategy for delivering a prosperous and secure Wales, Prosperity for All; early years, housing, social care, mental health, and skills and employability. The Welsh Government believes that these five areas will make a big contribution to tackling loneliness and isolation.
