Promotions add value to growing finance firm
Our leading firm of Chartered accountants and business advisers with offices in Cardiff, Aberdare and Swansea, has appointed three new Associate Directors, Jonathan Rees, Amanda Kruger and Stephen Holley to support our growth in the market and continued commitment to developing and investing in people. KTS Owens Thomas has over 60 employees, its biggest asset in providing proactive and technical value-added advice to clients in market leading services including forensic accounting and tax advisory across a wide range sectors in Wales and the rest of the UK.
Director of KTS Owens Thomas, Roy Birtles said of the promotions:

Amanda Kruger
Amanda Kruger has over 29 years’ experience as an external and internal auditor, joining KTS Owens Thomas in 2009, a firm specialising in all areas of audit and assurance services from private to public sector. As an Associate Director Amanda will lead on providing commercially focused audit advice and support to a wide range of industry sectors and will be a key asset to the future growth of the firm. Amanda Kruger said,
“I’m so happy for the opportunity as KTS Owens Thomas continues to grow. I will be helping to increase our audit and assurance client base in both the private and public sector and within a range of sectors such as Manufacturing, Engineering and Service Industries. I am also keen to expand the firms offering in International financial reporting and auditing, servicing foreign invested entities in the UK.”
Jonathan Rees
Jonathan Rees joined KTS Owens Thomas in 2011, having spent the previous 5 years working for Deloitte LLP in Cardiff. Jonathan brings with him over 13 years of experience providing accountancy and business solutions to a diverse client base from large corporates to small, owner-managed businesses. The breadth of Jonathan’s technical skills and experience enables him to provide strategic and commercially focused advice to a wide range of industry sectors. As an Associate Director, Jonathan will lead the firm’s regional offering, as well as continuing to head up the Aberdare office.
Jonathan Rees said of his recent appointment:

Stephen Holley
Stephen Holley joined KTS Owens Thomas in 2003 and has over 15 years’ extensive and detailed working knowledge of Accounts and Outsourced Accounting Solutions. As Associate Director of Accounts and Outsourcing Stephen said of his recent appointment;
“One of my aims is to assist SMEs in getting the accounting and payroll support they need, now and in the future, especially with the onset of the Making Tax Digital switch starting in 2018, where nearly all businesses will need to be in the cloud.”
