£2,000 worth of fireworks were stolen from a business in Talbot Green

South Wales Police are reminding people to only buy fireworks from registered retailers after around £2,000 worth of fireworks were stolen from a business in Talbot Green.
Inspector Tony Carpenter said: “Fireworks can be very dangerous and it is therefore important to keep yourself and your family safe and only buy them from a registered retailer or attend an organised display.
“I would also like to remind people that it is an offence to have fireworks in a public place if you are under 18 or use them for anti-social behaviour. We have increased our patrols as part of Op BANG and we will take action against anyone committing acts of anti-social behaviour.”
The break-in happened overnight and the fireworks are of the TNT brand.
Anyone with information can call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting occurrence number 1600416259
