‘Creeper style’ burglaries in Mountain Ash
Residents in Mountain Ash are being warned to ensure they keep their homes secure after a number of ‘creeper style’ burglaries in the past week.
These burglaries have all taken place during the early hours of the morning, with entry being gained via unsecure doors. Typical items stolen include cash, wallets, handbags, laptops, mobile phones and games consoles.
These are opportunist crimes where the offenders are targeting unsecure homes and looking for things they can steal relatively quickly.
We would like to remind residents to ensure they keep all doors locked as a matter of routine, but especially during the evening and overnight – don’t give burglars an easy way in. Windows should also be kept closed and secured if you are out at night.
