Friends of the Actif Woods Wales project,
Dear friends of the Actif Woods Wales project,
It’s been a great pleasure working with everyone on the Actif Woods Wales project for the last few years. The input and collaboration you have all had on many levels; from being a partner organisation to attending meetings to assisting on a practical level has been really valued and has helped to make the project the success it has been – thank you.
As many of you are aware, our current project phase comes to an end in March 2016. The Actif Woods Wales team are looking forward to celebrating what has been achieved with the participants, leaders and all local and national organisations that are interested. This will be through a series of celebration events planned in March – see poster. The Aberystwyth event (also the national event) will be on:
Thursday 24th March at the Morlan Centre, Aberystwyth and the adjoining woodland.
The nearest day to you will be in Neath Port Talbot on Friday 18th March at the Gnoll Country Park
These events will be a celebration of the work of the last five years and a celebration of the way in which woodlands have been bought to life, through the wide range of activity groups that have been set up across the project, as well as the training and volunteering opportunities that have been provided. Come and join Coed Lleol to:
- Celebrate the wide range of activities and groups Actif Woods Wales has involved.
- Experience current and new Actif Woods Wales activities
- Participate in Workshops
- Receive Information on what the project has achieved and what
could happen next
I do hope you will be able to join us and please do help us to spread the word about this and encourage your friends and contacts to also come and hear about the work over the last five years, and future plans.
Thanks and best wishes,
Amie Andrews (Coed Lleol Manager)
