Play Wales have launched a Manifesto for children’s play in Wales and hope that the new Welsh Government will continue to prioritise play provision in Wales.
Play Wales are asking all political parties to recognise the importance of making time for play, as well as, having the freedom and suitable places to do so. The Manifesto is based on the growing body of evidence that supports the long-term benefits of providing children’s play and the impact of this on families and the wider community.
