Have your say on Trust’s first Quality Improvement Strategy
THE Welsh Ambulance Service is inviting members of the public to have their say on its very first Quality Improvement Strategy.
The three-year plan outlines what the Trust intends to do in order to become high-performing, clinically-led organisation which puts the patient at the heart of everything we do.
Tracy Myhill, Chief Executive of the Welsh Ambulance Service, said: “This is the Trust’s first Quality Improvement Strategy and is a key part of our journey to moving us forward to be the best we can be.
“The feedback we receive indicates that the majority of our patients are satisfied with services we provide, but we don’t always get it right.
“We need to continuously look for improvements in the quality of care we provide.
“Our staff, service users and communities are pivotal to informing our services and we would be very grateful for your feedback.”
Click here to read the strategy, and here to download a consultation response form.
The deadline for responses is Friday 2 October, 2015.
Responses will then be considered and changes made ahead of the document’s formal release.
Any feedback received after this date will still be collated, and used for when the strategy is reviewed and refreshed in future.
Email your comments and/or the form to PPI.TEAM@wales.nhs.uk ensuring that ‘Quality Improvement Strategy Consultation’ is in the subject box.
