RNIB GLOW NEON 3K FUN RUN
When: Saturday 24 October 2015 from 7pm
What: RNIB Glow Neon 3k Fun Run, is an event with a difference. Taking place after dark, RNIB Glow runs are inspired by the colourful full moon parties of Thailand, and participants can run, walk or even dance their way around the track under the UV lights whilst being sprayed with luminous colourful paint along the way. Live DJs will provide the beats to keep you moving – so don't forget your glow sticks!
Where: Cardiff International Sports Stadium
Who: The event is open to anyone over the age of 10 and is fully accessible to blind and partially sighted participants (guide runners can be provided).
Why: Every 15 minutes someone in the UK begins to lose their sight, it can happen to anyone at any time. We're the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and we're here for everyone affected by sight loss. Whether you're losing your sight or you're blind or partially sighted, our practical and emotional support can help you face the future with confidence.
RNIB Cymru is the largest sight loss organisation in Wales. By supporting RNIB and taking part in an RNIB Glow Neon run, you can help us reach more blind and partially sighted people.
How to get involved: Visit www.rnib.org.uk/glow to find out more and register. It costs £10 to register for each event, and each participant is asked to raise a minimum of £25 each (£10 for under 16s).
