Should care leavers have a passport? Professional and Young People Events
Voices From Care Cymru and the National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) Cymru are running events during care leavers’ week to launch their campaign “All young people leaving care with a valid passport”.
The events will celebrate the benefits of having a passport, with a travel theme and international food.
Voices from Care and NYAS hope to have professional and young people from across Wales at the event, to start conversations on young people’s experiences, the benefits of a passport, current practice, barriers, and ways forward.
There will be events in Cardiff, Llanelli and Wrexham.
