ND Service Operational Lead Practitioner

The Operational Lead with support the Lead Community Consultant Paediatrician on a day to day basis in the management delivery and development of effective, efficient and timely Neurodevelopmental services, based on local and national guidelines andrecommendations. The post holder with lead and promote the development of robust clinical pathways across the service for assessment and evidence based interventions support the child population within CTMUHB health board. They will need to be a practising clinician in the ND area of service delivery and will also carry a clinical caseload and contribute to the SPOA (single point of access) at referral, whilst having overall management responsibility for ND, working with the ND Lead Paediatrician. Undertake complex clinical assessment of children and young people within the specialist Neuro Development Service. Provide expert second opinion on complex cases.
