The Infection Prevention Advisor (IPA HCSW) will work under the guidance of the Infection Prevention and Control Nurse / Practitioners to provide Infection Prevention support and guidance for clinical and care teams. The role involves auditing care areas, providing feedback to teams, targeted training, and administrative functions (including managing data, responding to queries and supporting the wider team)The post holder will work both collaboratively and independently in a range of health and social care settings both across a range of sites within the ABUHB area. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as enthusiasm for keeping our patients and staff safe by reducing the risk of infection. ]]>
