Officers on patrol were travelling along the Tramroad from Penywaun towards the Aberdare area last week. Whilst speaking with a member of the public, an off-road bike came around the corner and attempted to pass the police car on the single-track road.
Upon sighting the bike officers alighted the car and the bike came to a stop. The driver has been reported for driving without a license and insurance. The bike has been seized and will be destroyed.
Cynon neighbourhood police will continue to relentlessly pursue offenders riding off road bikes on roads and in our town centres.
