The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K and 2K have officially sold out for the second consecutive year, with record numbers set to take part on Sunday 10th May 2026.
This year’s event is bigger than ever, with 2,500 runners registered for the 10K and 1,200 participants in the 2K, highlighting the continued growth and popularity of the event across the region.
The 2026 race will see runners take on a new and improved 10K route, designed in response to participant feedback. The updated course features a reduction in elevation, creating a faster and more accessible route while retaining the town centre start and finish on Crescent Road.
The 2K event will once again welcome young runners and families, contributing to the inclusive and community-focused atmosphere that has become a key part of race day.
To support the safe delivery of the event, a number of temporary road closures will be in place across Caerphilly town centre and surrounding areas on the morning of Sunday 10th May. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time where necessary.
Full details on participation, including route maps and key event information, can be found in the Participant Information Guide, further event details and commonly asked questions can be found in the FAQs.
Information on road closures are also available online.
