FB: Not sure why I can only reply “anonymously”, but there are several parents in Hirwaun paying for the “spare” seats to Rhydywaun. We’ve been charged £154 and they have changed the route! So kids now have to walk 7-10 minutes for their paid seat on the bus. Several parents have spoken to the transport department to ask can the previous route continue. Only to be met with a rude person on the other end of the phone stating no! So they’ve cut the route but charging more than previous years for the privilege!!
FB: Cwmdare to ACS this morning was the worst one so far. 25 minutes + stuck on Cwmdare Hill due to temporary 3 way traffic lights. 5 schools in our small village, Cwmdare primary, Maesgwyn, Ty Gwyn, St John’s and the Welsh school all trying to get to and from Cwmdare at the same time! Both children were 15 minutes late for school and I just about made it to work for 9am.

Fair play to Rhondda Cynon Taf Council they have right tucked us up. We know traffic is bad when the weather is poor, but this is beyond. Our community is now gridlocked.
Queuing traffic right back towards the garage in one direction – towards Woodlands the other in Llantwit Fardre.
In Beddau, back down Parish Road in one direction and from Beddau Square down past the Spar in the other….
How on earth do they expect Edwards Coaches to operate a reliable bus service? Already had messages of the 400 full to capacity and very late leaving passengers behind. This is impacting those trying to get to work
