Caerphilly County Borough Council is proud to unveil a series of significant upgrades across its Leisure Lifestyle facilities, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). These investments deliver modern, flexible facilities and activities designed to help residents stay active, healthy, and engaged, while creating new opportunities for events and revenue generation and support the aims and ambitions set out in the Sport & Active Recreation Strategy.
Heolddu Leisure Centre: New Group Cycling Studio
Brand- new state-of-the-art Keiser M3i bikes have been introduced at Heolddu LC. These industry-leading bikes provide an exceptional cycling experience for all fitness levels, bringing a fresh and engaging workout option to the leisure centre.
Risca Leisure Centre: Interactive Play Wall – Coming Soon!
An interactive play wall is coming soon to the swimming pool at Risca Leisure Centre. This innovative feature will offer an exciting and engaging way for children and families to enjoy active play, combining physical movement with interactive games and challenges. Further updates on its launch will be shared soon.
Caerphilly Leisure Centre: Pop-Up Dry-Side Inflatable – More Details Coming Soon!
Caerphilly Leisure Centre has introduced a flexible pop-up inflatable. This feature can be set up and taken down for specific sessions and events, providing an exciting option for families, group activities, and birthday party packages.
The full timetable of sessions is currently being developed, and more details will be announced soon.
Newbridge Leisure Centre: Hippo Slide Installation
During an unexpected swimming pool closure at Newbridge Leisure Centre, a new and improved Hippo Slide was installed. This exciting addition enhances the swimming experience and has already proven popular with families and young swimmers.
Clubbercise Classes: Fun and Fitness for All
Earlier this year, Clubbercise classes were introduced at Newbridge and Caerphilly Leisure Centres. These high-energy sessions combine simple fitness routines with a nightclub atmosphere, glow sticks, and great music, making exercise fun and accessible for everyone.
