Aberdare Park Road Races exhibition at Aberdare Library

We’re launching the first Aberdare Park Road Races exhibition at Aberdare Library with Our Aberdare and Rhondda Cynon Taff Council. Have old programmes, tickets, photos or something incredibly unique? We’d love to showcase them!

As part of our recent announcement and partnership with ‘Our Aberdare’ Aberdare Park Road Races are excited to launch our very first exhibition at Aberdare Library. In partnership with ‘Our Aberdare’ and Rhondda Cynon Taff Council, this unique exhibition will celebrate the rich history and heritage of the Aberdare Park Road Races, showcasing memorabilia and stories from its inception to the present day. The exhibition will open the week ahead race weekend (Saturday 3rd August and Sunday 4th August), and we’d love to get our supporters involved to help to make it a success.

The team at Aberdare Library already have an extensive amount of memorabilia and amazing archive material mixed alongside our own collection and we are reaching out to our dedicated spectators and supporters to contribute to this exhibition.

If you have any items such as old programmes, tickets, posters, photographs, or any other memorabilia that could help us tell the story of Aberdare Park Road Races, we would love to hear from you. Your contributions will play an important role in creating an engaging and comprehensive display that highlights the unique legacy of our event.
