Don’t leave Rhondda jobless behind, say Welsh Conservatives

Commenting on the news that UK Windows and Doors has been placed into administration, Welsh Conservative Shadow Economy Minister, Paul Davies MS said:

“My thoughts are with workers affected by these job losses during this undoubtedly distressing time.

“I am glad to hear that the Labour Government have offered support and I hope that their response is swift to ensure that no one is left behind.”

Welsh Conservative regional Senedd Members for South Wales Central and Leader of the Welsh Conservatives Andrew RT Davies MS added:

“Job losses in our region and elsewhere in Wales devastate communities, we need to support those affected across the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. The Labour Government need to be forthcoming and clear about the help they are offering beyond that of the UK Conservative Government’s DWP.

“The people of the South Wales valleys have a vibrancy, vigour and expertise that any employer would want to take advantage of. All options from supporting this company to finding new jobs for those affected should be explored to reduce the impact of this news.”
