TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME GWAWR STREET ABERAMAN

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2019

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

 

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily introduce waiting restrictions on the following lengths or roads:

 

Gwawr Street

South eastern side, from a point 24 metres south west of its junction with Brook Street, south westwards for a distance of 65 metres

 

Rhos Nathan Wyn

 

Both sides, from its junction with Gwawr Street, south eastwards for a distance of 5 metres

 

The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road in connection with repairs to the river wall

 

The closure is expected to be in operation from 1st August 2019 for up to 18 months or until such time as the works have been completed

 

NB The temporary waiting restrictions are expected to be in place for 3 months
