PUBLIC SERVICES OMBUDSMAN (WALES) ACT 2005
Notice pursuant to Section 17(3) of the above Act.
The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales has investigated a complaint and found maladministration/service failure by Cwm Taf University Health Board and has sent a report on the results of his investigation to the Health Board. The complaint related to the management of a patient’s gastrointestinal condition at Prince Charles Hospital in April 2015 and whether earlier surgical intervention would have resulted in a different outcome.
A copy of the report will be available on the website of Cwm Taf University Health Board (http://cwmtaf.wales/) and for inspection by the public without charge during normal office hours at the Health Board’s Headquarters, Ynysmeurig House, Navigation Park, Abercynon, CF45 4SN, for a period of 3 weeks from 5th June 2018 and anyone who wishes may take a copy of this report or make extracts therefrom. Photocopies of the report or parts thereof will be provided on payment of ten pence per sheet.
