Rhondda Cynon Taff Welsh Liberal Democrats We’re still here…
Admittedly we may have been a little quiet lately, but we are still around and still doing our bit in various communities across RCT and keeping an eye on what is happening here and in the wider world.
Our members have been involved locally and on a national level in discussions about the party and how we re-engage with the wider public which is undoubtedly something we need to do.
Councillor Mike Powell meanwhile has been, as always, active in the Trallwn ward. Flytipping is becoming one of the major problems there as in many areas with far too many individuals thinking it is ok to just dump rubbish wherever they like.
Dog fouling is another issue which raises the hackles of residents – new regulations come into force on 1st October which are to be welcomed. Dog owners can be fined if they are found walking their dogs and cannot produce a bag in which to collect and dispose of waste.
Some excellent results were produced yet again by schools across RCT and congratulations are due to the pupils and to all involved.
