(“SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR” MARKINGS AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to
1. Prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to wait Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm on the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice
2. Prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to stop between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday on the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice The Order will come into operation on 25th August 2017
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it had not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 25th August 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose
SCHEDULE 1 – Prohibition of Waiting (Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm inclusive)
1. On the north side of Park Lane, from a point 18 metres west of the Park Lane allotments entrance, in a westerly direction, for a distance of 24 metres
2. On the west side of Park Lane, from the entrance to Penllew Residential Care Home in a south westerly direction, for a distance of 16.4 metres
3. On the south side of Park Lane, from the Main Entrance Gate at Park Lane Special School, in an easterly direction, for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction
SCHEDULE 2 – Prohibition of Stopping, “School Keep Clear” Markings (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm)
1. On the south side of Park Lane, from the Main Entrance gate to Park Lane Special School, in an easterly direction, for a distance of 62.5 metres in an easterly direction
