Open Doors 2017
Would you like to organise a talk in Rhondda Cynon Taf later this year as part of the exciting Open Doors series?
Registration is now open for the annual initiative which allows residents to explore the hidden treasures of Wales’ culture and history.
Organised by Cadw, Welsh Government’s historic environment service, events are held all across the County Borough at venues such as Rhondda Heritage Park, the Museum of Welsh Mining, and Lido Ponty, the National Lido of Wales.
Taking place throughout the months of September, a series of varied talks and events are hosted by individuals, supported by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council.
Would you like to organise a talk to explore the stories behind our sites during Open Doors 2017? Your event can take place during the day, evening or at weekends.
Events can be registered with CADW until Thursday, June 15
Open Doors 2017 (September 1-30) celebrates architecture and culture across Wales by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission.
