This report summarises the findings from the audit work completed at Cwm Taf University Health Board in 2016.

The Health Board continues to demonstrate good budgetary control and to monitor savings plans effectively.

It has a good record of achieving financial balance and has improved stakeholder engagement in financial planning, but significant challenges remain to deliver a balanced financial position in 2016-17.
