Problems with Aberdare Canal

It would seen the Labour run Rhondda Cynon Taf Council officers say one thing and do something else.

The council said on 5 December they are monitoring the Aberdare Canal and the public right of way

Below is photograph also on Twitter 20 November showing the problem a blocked culvert.

This photograph taken 15 December and flooding of the PROW continues even with RCTC monitoring the situation but not taking responsibility to alleviate the problem for people who use the PROW.

The council believe broken stepping stones are the answer but what about wheelchair users and pushchairs prams

The main problem is the culvert is to small to take the volume of water even worse if the culvert is never cleaned out.

Perhaps the council want a repeat of this
