Spooktacular is the baby sister of its 16+ fully immersive, horror event X Scream which takes place on selected nights from 20th – 31st October.

Just what is hiding in the old coal mine shafts up in the Valleys?

X-Scream, the event that scared the living daylights out of South Wales last Halloween, returns to the Rhondda Heritage Park this October, bigger, better and of course even scarier!

Scare-seekers will journey into the unknown by entering X-Scream bringing a totally different feel to the already unique experience at the site, so expect the unexpected.

Cllr Joy Rosser, Cabinet Member for Prosperity, Wellbeing and Communities, with responsibility for Heritage Services, said:

“This year’s Halloween attraction at Rhondda Heritage Park promises to be not for the feint-hearted. This will be a unique themed event at our Underground Experience, a fantastic setting for an attraction of this kind. The Underground Experience, along with historic buildings at Rhondda Heritage Park, will form part of the X Scream experience. Rhondda Heritage Park continues to be a popular tourist attraction for local people, as well as visitors to the County Borough, and I am sure X Scream will bring in many people. Our Halloween activities this year offer something for all the family, as well as the regular attractions which allow visitors to follow in the footsteps of miners who worked in the pit and get a feel for what life was like in that era.”

X-Scream will be 9 nights of terror set to start from 20th to 31st October and is a fully immersive scare experience featuring live actors, special effects and horrific shocks that will keep you trembling at every twist and turn.
