Year 9 at St John’s have made a difference for Christmas
Year 9 pupils have had a busy few weeks collecting items for the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Appeal. After a busy month, pupils were thrilled to have collected enough items for 120 shoeboxes.
They spent many hours during several weeks of their lunchtimes organising items, wrapping shoeboxes and quality checking each box. A number of pupils even gave up their half term holiday to complete the very rewarding task.
A big thank you from Miss Jenkins to all who donated and to all pupils who worked tirelessly to make this happen. Well Done Year 9!
