Cardiff City FC Foundation championships
The St John U13 girl's football team travelled to the House of Sport in Cardiff to compete in the Cardiff City FC Foundation championships.
The team has recently been established and have been coached by Keira and Nia in Year 10. The Year 10 girls have recently been awarded the title of ‘Directors of football’; a scheme sponsored by Lidl.
The U13’s played well throughout the day and were victorious in 2 out of 4 games in their pool. This, however, was not quite enough to allow them to progress through to the quarter-finals, although, all pupils gave their all and benefitted from the experience.
