Robertstown Cast Iron Bridge

This cast iron bridge across the River Cynon between Trecynon and Robertstown is one of the oldest surviving "railway" bridges in the world. The bridge was built by the Aberdare Canal Company to carry the tramway that runs from Hirwaun to the canal head at Cwmbach.Further information can be found here
