New Look Aberdare Show for 2011

Announcement from Aberdare Carnival and Show Company Ltd

The show in 2011 will have even more going on; the cost of putting on a show fit for any County is well in excess of £10,000.00. The show next year will be over there days (With Council Approval).
Friday 1st July will be the opening night with an event from 4pm to 9pm. This will be the Child Line Wales Lantern festival with a parade around the park by children and families with lanterns then a grand release of sky lanterns at 8.45pm. You can by your sky lanterns from the stall in the park they will be £1.50 and 50p goes to Child Line Wales.
Saturday 2nd July Carnival Parade around the Park at 1pm there will be all the usual things going on more charity stalls(If you know or belong to a charity who would like a free pitch then email us)
Sunday 3rd July is Fun Sunday this will be more of our family day with for the first time the Cancer Research Wales Teddy Bears Picnic families are invited to bring a picnic and the children their teddy bears cost will be £1 per picnic site with all the money going to CRW there will be party games and lots to do and at 12pm there will be a Jazz Band Parade around the park.
One of the main attractions I am sure every one will enjoy will be the new Dance Village where Streetwise will be running the second annual competition. We hope for more fancy dress and also lot’s more people at the event.
