How much do councils spend on employing consultants and agency staff?

Why the secrecy sounding our council what have they got to hide? Are they supposed to be accountable to us the ratepayers? It would seem not,

Our leader of RCT Council Cllr Roberts is raking in the cash, he gets paid an allowance of £54,546 a year, plus expenses from RCT. Cllr Roberts who also sits on two public bodies who appointed him?

He is chair of the South Wales Police Authority, which carries a salary of £20,925, made interim chair of the Cwm Taf Health Board, which earns him £42,282.

A total of £117,753 a year from the public purse, can he do the 3 jobs correctly?
