democratic rubbish

this is how democracy works.firstly you pick a plitical party to join. then you scrape and grovel to become a candidate for parliament, then you get elected and take the wishes from the people who voted you in. but then reality hits, you must vote with the party,then you must vote how you are told by the leader or else, so the reason you bacame elected has gone, you can only say what they alow you to say and nothing else, sorry to be so negative but it works at local level and council level, i feel honesty and fairness has gone, perhaps it's our fault for voting these in year after year.time is right for a change otherwise we will be in the same old mess again.what i fail to understand is there is no resoning with r c t they dismiss everything but what they want. no more voting labour for me.
being a new member it is nice to see so many concerned with the mess we are now in and ruled by a few people.to be polite give them enough rope and they will hang themselves.
