Bankers Financial Transaction Tax.

The European Parliament in Strasbourg met last week to consider the introduction an EU wide Financial Transaction Tax. (London Bankers tax).

They voted in favour of it's introduction thoughout Europe.

487 in favour.
152 against.
64 absentions.

Of the four MEPs reprentant Wales two voted against Ms Swinburne (Conservative) and Mr Bufton (Ukip). Jill Evans (Plaid Cymru) voted in favour, while Mr Vaughan (Labour) abstained.

The United States (Wall St) aleady has this kind of tax.
