Yes, get out there and vote, but vote for anyone but the Labour Party. A vote for Labour is a wasted vote; it means more long years of stagnation and contempt. Nothing will change for the better in RCT so long as Labour continues to hold us all back, so let's take this opportunity to rid ourselves of the Labour millstone.

Absolutely right.
We need to rid ourselves of this madness openly displayed by the RCT Labour Party. The public are held in contempt and used purely to fuel the Gravy Train that it has become.
For goodness sake get up on to your knees and fight back!

Just got back from the polling station. I noticed that you're allowed two votes, but there were three names on the list in my ward, two Labour and one Plaid. Needless to say I didn't vote Labour, so I only used one vote. If I were a turkey would I vote for Christmas?
If there was a Tory name on the ballot paper, I'd vote for that rather than the stab in the back scoundrels of the Labour Party. The reason being that with the Tories they make no bones about the fact that they are our class enemies and they're out to nail us, so you can see the knife coming from the front.
Labour on the other hand pretend to be the friend of working people and the downtrodden, when all the time they're conspiring to feather their own nests at the expense of those they're supposed to care for. Thus you don't see the knife coming from the back.
Myself, I prefer to see the attack coming so that I can take counter measures, but how can you take such measures against the betrayals of the Labour Party?
Anyway, I gave my vote to Plaid even though I don't support independence for Wales, but at least Plaid seems to have less hypocrites and rogues than Labour. Oh, and their candidates only seem to hold down one job at a time and not five like the self interested specimen leading Labour. And besides, the two pillocks put up by Labour in my ward just about know what planet they're on, so we've got no chance of seeing any progress from them.
Ah well, no doubt we'll see the gravy train rolling again tomorrow with the same Labour passengers sitting in the first class carriage and laughing at all the mugs who voted them in. Still, never give a sucker an even break, eh?
I may as well piss in the wind cos its going to be Labour so why bother, if someone else had a fair crack I would vote.
I have always voted but now it seem pity pointless in the cynon valley as its Labour , Labour or Labour. Where is my choice??
sorry I have none, no choice, no hope and little chance of anyone else in my lifetime getting in, I am nearly 50 and its always been Labour, so sorry its a one party valley, talk about china and a one party state.

Even living 10,000miles away I have been very interested in your election results and have been pleased to see justice done at last especially with one certain gravy train rider.
Always remember the power you have in your vote and as they say in Australia.
Honesty ???? yeah get real, they start off with butter wouldnt melt in their mouths and end up pilfering the fridge every time they pass it, like a kid with a large mouth full of skittles.

In ancient Greek mythology the Hydra was a hideous monster with many heads. When one head was cut off it grew two more in its place.
I notice in a report in this week's CV Leader that the local Labour group in RCT has lost its head, but only to be replaced by another; equally daunting by the look of it as even the breath of the Hydra was said to be venomous. Sounds about right. Thus the rest of the group all move up a place I suppose.
I wonder therefore whether or not the new head, from Aberaman North, will continue the tradition of his predecessor and take on the extra jobs that Five Jobs Roberts carried out. It shouldn't be too difficult, and it sure as hell beats working in a real job for a living.
I mean, how can you work at five proper jobs at the same time? Surely you can't sleep or take days off or even stop to eat and carry out all the other bodily functions to keep going. You must work your fingers to the bone. I just hope the new incumbent is up to the task if he decides to take it all on.
Yes, a very lucrative pastime too so I'm told, thus adding weight to the "all in it together" mantra that we keep hearing about. It's good to know that our local specimens are glad to share the austerity that the rest of us have to bear.

I think it's even worse than that.
In pretty quick time '5 Jobs Roberts' will no doubt be appointed to some lucrative position on some obscure quango-like body by his mates at WAG. Seems to happen with just about everyone else that loses at the ballot box. Even the opposition AM's like Nick Bourne. It's scandalous really but the electorate are powerless to do anything about it. Rejected by the people - anointed by the gods.
The new 'Leader' carrying on the tradition of self-service? Not much doubt in my mind there.

In my ward there were 2 standing for Plaid and 2 for Labour. With all the cuts going on why don't they cut these councillors down to one of each.
Is it true 5 jobs Roberts is now NO job Roberts ! ! !

Well if you all thought 5 jobs was bad enough
Plenty of bullshit quotes in the local paper not worth the paper they are printed on this is one man that looks out for number one.
