Labour take a month off.

.
The planned final meeting of the Council ahead of the elections on May 3rd has been cancelled, allegedly due to a 'lack of business' despite there being an number of opposition motions on the agenda.

RCT Councillors are amongst the highest paid in Wales and yet the Labour group seem to think it is ok to work for only eleven months as there is an election coming up.

Labour cream the public purse, then run away when they are put under scrutiny by the electorate. Labour : Five jobs but AWOL.

Cancelling council meetings also denies members of the public the opportunity to put questions to their elected members which should be an integral part of the democratic process.

Should Labour councillors hand back a months pay?

What's the bet that we won't notice any difference? Still, it gives Five Jobs Roberts a bit of time off to find himself another job where he can get his snout into the trough again.
