COULD this be the Welsh answer to the White Stripes?
Two rocking siblings from Ystrad Mynach look to follow the success of Detroit rockers Jack and Meg White, after being snapped up by an American record label just weeks after pairing up to play music together.

Brothers Aled and Brennig Clifford, both peripatetic music teachers, so impressed California-based Alive Natural Sound Records that they offered to sign their band, Henry’s Funeral Shoe, straight away.

But where did the band’s odd name come from ?
“That originated from a short story I wrote about a guy, who could have been from the back end of the Valleys or the backwoods of America, who discovers his wife’s been unfaithful and does away with her.
