ASDA'a roundabout - Waste of time?

Now that the roundabout is complete, could somebody please explain how it is an improvent over the old roundabout?
Does anybody else agree that this project was a total waste of time and money?

Totally agree, what a waste of resources. There appears to be no changes to the road system or markings. I wonder who came up with this idea?
6 months of employment and a waste of a chunk of roadbuilding fund, if it had been done properly in the first place it would have cost less.
It wasn't done properly the first time, second time............or third time.
i was under the impression that another road off the roundabout to the "new" houses was the reason for the work , but there is no change to the layout.
Once morrisons take over the focus store perhasps phase 5 of aberaman roundabout will take place. Council are good of extracting money for useless projects of big companies.
Is Morrisons moving into the old Focus, or is it just wishful thinking :)
Can't believe they've got signs up with New Road Layout Ahead! What a joke. Someone should change it to Same Road layout Ahead!
I really think questions should be raised with the council about this total waste of taxpayers money.
MMM Morrisons would be nice to give asda's and trscos a run for their money.
