An unemployed man, 29, has become one of Britain's youngest grandparents after his daughter gave birth at 14.
Shem Davies and his former girlfriend Kelly John, 30, were overjoyed when their daughter Tia, who was born when her parents were 15, gave birth to little Gracie earlier this month. Tia's boyfriend, Jordan Williams, is 15.
Shem said: 'It is an absolute joy to see Gracie thriving. I'm incredibly proud of Tia. She'll be a brilliant mum. At first I wasn't overly pleased that she was pregnant but I soon got over than. Now it's all about being positive

They must be set on turning Wales into "Deliverance" country. We seem to be becoming a country of hicks and trailer trash with this kind of publicity. Mind you, it is the Daily Mail, so be on your guard.
This is the kind of publicity though that will make the likes of cocoman rub his hands with glee at being proven right all along; and quite frankly, who can blame him? We do seem to be allowing the dregs to breed to the detriment of the rest of us.
But down to the nitty gritty; why hasn't the father of this baby been arrested and put on the sex offenders' register in the wake of his trial for sex with an underage child? And all the sex education in the world seems to have passed them by that they knew nothing about contraception.
Sorry, but I cannot feel anything but contempt for this bunch, who seem to revel in the fact that a crime has been committed and they're happy to boast about it. I'm afraid that in cases like this I too have to go along with cocoman's viewpoint that we are too damn soft, and actively encourage them with benefits and other handouts.
I see nothing in this report to make me rejoice at this innocent's arrival into the world. I hope I'm wrong, but she's a loser born into a bunch of losers, and we are going to pay for it.

Isn't the boy under 16 also, therefore she is just as guilty as he for having sex with a minor??
No worries, he'll be showered with free money from the DSS, free pram, free cot and own flat with a 42" plasma TV and all mod cons.
And us dullards are paying for it, she be forced to live at home with the benefit scrounging parents and given no state help.
They are not going to be showerd with money, simply because the system of handing out cash to people like that is going to stop in 2013, If they cant find work to support the child, the child will end up in care. When the Government realize that putting all these children into care is going to cost millions, then and only then will they consider Workhouses. The same for people on Incapacity benifit and DLA. David Cameron is a wise man, he is the only PM since Mrs Thatcher to know what is going on at street level, and he is going to put a stop to it all.
Cameron is a typical lying cheating spineless politician. He lied about troops benefits and military covenant. He promised a referendum on europe and reneged on it and now he's been caught with his trousers down over the andy coulson affair.

COCOMAN! not everyone on DLA are scroungers,there are people like me who worked all their life, then one day bang! they are told they need tests and these tests could not have been afforded out of their pocket so they use up their savings as there is a waiting list and to wait could mean certain death, then an operation, so they go onto DLA, so U think this person should be in the workhouse do U.Don't U think some of these people on DLA and Incapacidy would love to go back to work if they could,and as for the work house well that would be ok in todays world three meals a day,health care bath showers,cleaners,yes think I could get used to that,do me nicely bring it on down,
I hope granny Davies is positive enough to help keep her daughter and the baby or will it fall on the tax payers again.
If Cameron is such a wise man and knows what's going on at street level he would also know what's going on in parliament then, so why did'nt he put a stop to those crooked bastards ripping the country off through false expenses claims.
