The Plaid Cymru Parliamentary Candidate Coming to Your Street

This is the promise Dafydd Trystan Davies the Plaid Cymru party’s parliamentary candidate for the Cynon Valley.

He says, “Labour has lost all credibility among the hard-working people of Cynon Valley – it is a party in decline with no ideas and no vision for the future. I look forward to taking the fight to Gordon Brown’s Labour Party on every street in the valley.”

He’s not wrong with his description of the Labour party in Cynon Valley that is self-evident to anyone who resides in the valley; if Ann Clwyd and the Labour party are returned at the next general election voters deserve everything they get.

The consensus is that Ann Clwyd will be returned or any other Labour party candidate if she decides to retire.

Dafydd Trystan Davies is a former university lecturer and broadcaster, he is now development manager for Welsh-medium higher education throughout Wales. Dr Davies, 33, said: “I look forward to meeting as many people as possible over the coming months and will be very interested to hear their views on local issues.

“I believe life could and should be so much better for the people of Cwm Cynon and if I have one wish it is to see the return of the vision and enterprise culture that once existed in the valley."

To anyone who is still a Plaid sceptic, I say,at least you know he has the wellbeing of Wales at heart, and through that, Cwm Cynon as well., and not a Tuareg carpet in sight, nor that aroma of Cachu Ceffyl Crwmp perfume, so beloved by Ann of Arabia and her tribespeople.

DMJ; I happen to know this person personally, and I can assure you that you could do a lot worse than put your X against his name as a candidate. We need someone fresh and articulate in RCT right now, and Dafydd Tristan fits the bill. Baghdad Annie is long past her sell-by date, if she ever had one!

The only question remains now of course, is whether the voters in RCT will stick to the old donkey and continue to vote for a corrupt and long defunct political party which holds them in utter contempt anyway. If they do, then they have only themselves to blame for a having a MP whose interests are more in tune with Ali Baba and the forty thieves!

So, forget you're a Plaid sceptic and give Dafydd Tristan the chance he deserves. After all, what have you got to lose?
