10 songs of the alphabet

10 songs. Of the alphabet
There seems to be an interest in music, so let’s try this.
10 A.s 10 B.s 10 C.s right through the alphabet, after the first 10 songs, and singer/s/ band, move on to the next letter. If we become stuck on a particular letter say x, ( I can only think of one )move on to y - z being the last letter, If you can’t remember who sang/ played the song put ? ? Perhaps someone can fill it in. Number them so as we know where we are. I’ll start with
A. Alphabet song. Mamas & Papas. Only joking honest. (Nursery rhyme)

1. Apache. The Shadows. 2.

Blimey "Deep harm to disobey seeing obedience is the bond of rule" That brings back memories of writers cramp.
Did all schools have the same lines to write ,I went to Mount Grammar school and those were the lines we were given there .

Here is my song...

3. Wooden Heart - Elvis Presley

Quote:-" 'W' follows 'V' in this alphabet." Curly your underhandidness knows no bounds , you're even switching alphabets to try and win a prize now!You wouldn't have got away with this before we went decimal. i ve said all along i'd rather have joined Ponty' market than that "Common "one, ! Bloody foreigners, you just can't trust 'em,Remember the Alamo? There's a prime example, now look what happened there! You can't trust those bluddy foreigners I say!Remember what happened to that great Afghanistan delicacy, the Welshcake? Now there's a prime example, the yanks whent to war over it, because it's a matter of principle see, we must all remain vigilant. So remember folks, take care out there!

"

Never mind dmj your mistake was quite understandable. The chance of getting Xanadu in must have proved too much to bear. Not wanting to put a damper on things but secretly relishing the opportunity I must bring it to the attention of the adjudicator that the full title of the song in question is "Legend of Xanadu". Nevertheless I think that magnaminity should prevail and that dmj should be allowed his shortened version and given the opening spot when X marks the spot, just as I was allowed to do by with the unfortunate Jambalaya incident (which I still lose sleep over by the way despite having OD`d on a medication beloved of the aged male population). I think too that there was a hint of sour grapes from Curlyleads who wanted to get in first and surprise us all with 10 entries under X - well go on Curly you are welcome to the other 9 as I don`t think the rest of us will do too well.
4. Why doesn`t Rolf Harris F off - Kevin Bloody Wilson (Never heard of it? - you`ve missed a treat!)

But should have been Xtradited straight away LOL.

The first prize was a book of greenshield stamps, which could be exchanged at any Quick Save store, your prize would have been, have been, would have been an envelope packed full of junk mail. which any local takeaway would have told you they were last years offers. LOL

My day will be empty with out it,i realy enjoyed looking up all the songs.

A good time was had by all (except dmj and Apollo who are naughty).

"Deep harm to disob................" Jasus I'm bored! I wonder if I can find someone who will do them for me, for TWO frozen Jubbly's !!

Hey Dmj, Curly will do them for 2 Jubbly's. He used to walk up from Mrs Dash's sweet shop with one in each trouser pocket. Trouble was they were like a pyramid shape if you recall and when the girls would see these awkward shaped bulges in his trousers they used to think he was deformed and wouldn't go out with him. Also, to make matters worse, by the time he got to school from Mrs Dash's they had started to thaw and would leave a huge wet patch and the girls used to think that he had peed himself and wouldn't sit next to him, poor bugger!! LMAO
