A465 Temporary Traffic Lights between Hirwaun (Trewaun) Roundabout and Croesbychan Roundabout.  As part of the work to upgrade the A465 to a dual carriageway, temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A465 between Hirwaun (Trewaun) Roundabout and Croesbychan Roundabout, for the following dates and times:  Thursday 24 November 09:30 to 15:30 Friday 25 November 09:30 to 15:30 These have been introduced to allow construction work to be safely undertaken in this location. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

A465 Cefn Coed (A470) Junction to Dowlais Weekend Closure 2 - 5 December 2022 As part of the work to upgrade the A465 to a dual carriageway, the A465 between Cefn Coed (A470 junction) and Dowlais roundabouts will be closed in both directions: From: 20:00 hrs Friday 2 December 2022 Until: 06:00 hrs Monday 5 December 2022 During this closure a series of works will be taking place along the road including:

• Installation of the new footbridge at Dowlais Ponds
• Earthworks
• A number of utility and drainage works throughout the closure 
• Retaining wall construction at Galon Uchaf

Please note during this closure we are able to keep the temporary roundabout at Pant Industrial Estate open. This is only for traffic crossing the A465, and there will no access onto the A465 from this roundabout. An official diversion will be in place at: www.a465.org/CefnDowlaisDiversionPC   We apologise for any inconvenience this work may cause.
